ELTRONIS attended Pharmapack Europe 2016
ELTRONIS has grown throughout the years and this experience has allowed us to deal with a large variety of specialty and security contracts, regardless of the magnitude or complexity of the task, our product range expanding through various industry branches. Our company is still successfully dealing with contracts for the automotive, electronic, pharmaceutical industry and the Romanian government.
Pharmapack has been established as one of the key meeting places within the pharma packaging and drug delivery industry. Growing every year in terms of exhibitors and visitors, Pharmapack has gained a great reputation thanks to its unique concept and has attracted key players of the industry from all over the world. The quality of our products and our innovations to the pharmaceutical packaging security have determined us to attend this year’s event. Our preparations have begun months in advance.
Pharmapack Europe 2016 was held on February 10-11th in Paris, France. This, of course, meant being on the way the day before, because there was still work to be done ahead of the big opening. The sun rose with our plane on Tuesday morning of February 9 and after a bumpy landing we have arrived to the City of Light. After we battled our way trough the Paris traffic, our team of three stood at the gates of the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. We proceeded to Hall 5 to look for booth 854, our designated exhibition area. Then began the setup of the display of our products, that we were going to present to the world the following day. Wednesday early morning found us already at our booth making the last preparations before the grand opening. The arrival of our very capable hostess, Stéphanie, meant that our Pharmapack team was complete and the event could begin.
Visitors started arriving to our booth as well, and even though we only received a couple of curious glances, the ice broke fairly quickly and the first person stepped over to talk to us. It is said that a person is more interesting when he’s involved or engaged. The same goes for an exhibition booth and its representatives. The busier you are the more people will at least stop and look at what you do or what you have to offer. People from all over the world stopped by and shown interest in what we do. Vial & syringe labels and our very strong iv bottle hang tag were some of the products we had on display.
The most sought after of our featured items was enseal™, our patent pending self-adhesive tamper-evident seal for pharmaceutical packaging protection which we officially launched during this exhibition. The EU Falsified Medicines Directive has introduced mandatory safety features regarding the labeling of the secondary packaging of certain medicinal products for human use. enseal™ is the perfect tool to achieve this goal and more. Designed with user friendliness in mind, our self-adhesive tamper-evident seal’s non-adhesive tab for easy removal gives it a revolutionary intuitive use, offers brand protection and its full transparency doesn’t interfere with the design of the package. It’s all up to the customer and his needs.
It was a full 2-day event and Pharmapack 2016 offered a lot for both visitors and exhibitors. This was our first participation at Pharmapack Europe and we consider it to be a success thanks to all the interest shown by our visitors towards our products.
